Tour Highlights

Karen Hill Tribe Lodge

The lodge and the people are the highlights of this tour,  tucked away in a lush forest opening with a chance to see or hear the call of the wild Gibbon. The lodge is wooden purpose built building built for the more adventurous travellers due to it's remote location miles from mainstream tourism.

Operated by the Karen people of the village the proceeds from the lodge go toward the upkeep of the village and school tranportation for the children.

During the months of November to January due to it's elevation temperatures can plummet to single digits at night demanding the evening drinks to be spent by a roaring wood fire.
